I’ve gotta rethink everything. Till then well… I’d like your input! Should I use a blog format or should I use a self coded format? While I’m pretty decent at (X)HTML, Flash, PHP, ASP and all that I feel better having someone else do all the dirty work. Got any input? Comment. Thanks.

I decided that I’ll do a part of the blog where I discuss classic apps for Windows/Mac/UNIX(-like) OS’s. So for this entry I nonimate: xBill. I found it on my hard drive (for some weird reason in C:\WINNT) and remembered all the fun times I had stopping the rouge hacker “Bill” from installing Wingdongs on it. Fun stuff… A recommended download for everyone! And yes, it runs on Windows 95, and most likely Windows 3.1 while your at it.

Welcome to the Internet Homeworld Online! The IHO (as I’ll call it from now on) is a website (with several blogish elements) that contains most of my interests (computer hardware & software and so on…) At first I thought I would use a CMS format, such as Geeklog which was the one that I felt most suited my interests, but as circumstances be, it didn’t work with my web hosts system, so I’ll be using a WordPress until that time, unless this proves to be much more efficient.

A dilemma I have, however, is what content to post? I don’t want it to be too “So today I woke up, and”… all that crap. And I don’t want it to be too technical to scare virtually everyone away. But only time will tell.

Rockstar will include SecuROM in the PC release of GTA IV

Sources say (well Slashdot), that Rockstar games will be including SecuROM in the PC release of GTA IV. However, unlike EA’s Spore and Mass Effect, there will not be a limit on the times you can reinstall it. While I liked the previous releases of GTA (purchasing them for both the PlayStation(2) and PC), I can guarentee that I will not be buying GTA IV for any system, not just beacuse of the DRM, but because of the let down. While it had more flashy graphics than III, VC, or SA, it didn’t improve the gameplay. I propose that you don’t buy it, or pirate it. Just don’t get it. Hopefully that’ll show them that we gamers do NOT want DRM.
